Bear Knuckles gloves are designed to fit tightly for better control and dexterity. Our sizing guide reflects a glove that will fit like a second skin. With regular break-in, the leather will expand and conform to the natural shape of your hand. If you desire a loose fitting glove, we recommend sizing up (L instead of M).
Conditioning for 1st Time Use
To achieve a perfect fit, Bear Knuckles gloves should conform tightly to your hands when wearing for the 1st time as leather will stretch.
Break-in Steps
- Put gloves on
- Spritz with water
Note: If gloves are water/oil resistant, use mink oil or leather conditioner instead of water - Wear until dry
Maintenance & Cleaning
All Bear Knuckles gloves are safe to hand or machine wash and dry. After machine washing, gloves will shrink to original size and may be stiff. Follow Break-in Steps above to recondition.Nice fit and feel.
Love the gloves have not had the chance to try them in wet weather yet
I put leather conditioner one them an fit was real nice
Not like gloves you by from the big box stores
Thanks
I bought several pairs of gloves. The first pair I through in the trash after wearing them 4 times. The gloves had way to much material between the ring and pinky finger. Left sore spots at the base of the fingers. The next pair was much better. So far I have a 50/50 good verses bad rating. I bought several pairs at the time of purchase. So far I have only tried 2 of the 5 pairs.
I use them for everything trucking and farming love them
I ordered my first pair of gloves using the hand size guide on the order form. Although I usually take an XXL size the guide said just XL. I got them and wished I has ordered the XXL. I managed to get them on and although a tight fit they've stretched a bit with use. I then ordered another pair in XXL and the two pairs of gloves are identical in size. The only difference being is the thumbs in the XL pair are far too long for me while in the XXL pair they're just about right.
Maybe if your gloves were produced here in the U.S. you could exert better quality control. I have no idea about durability as I've just started using my first pair. Time will tell.
