Bear Knuckles gloves are designed to fit tightly for better control and dexterity. Our sizing guide reflects a glove that will fit like a second skin. With regular break-in, the leather will expand and conform to the natural shape of your hand. If you desire a loose fitting glove, we recommend sizing up (L instead of M).

Conditioning Leather for First Time Use

To achieve a perfect fit, Bear Knuckles leather gloves should conform tightly to your hands when wearing for the first time as leather will stretch.

  1. Put leather gloves on
  2. Spritz with water
Note: If gloves are water/oil resistant, use mink oil or leather conditioner instead of water
  3. Wear until dry

Maintenance & Cleaning

All Bear Knuckles gloves are safe to hand or machine wash and dry. After machine washing, gloves will shrink to original size and may be stiff. Follow Break-in Steps above to recondition.

Great Gloves

I bought these gloves because I have big, wide, palms and shorter fingers making normal gloves annoying to use because I have to size up for my hand to even fit in, but the fingers are so long I can’t do anything with even moderate precision. I saw on Reddit that these are good gloves for people with hands like mine and I took the leap. I must say they have been great here in Ohio lately as we have had days with lows in the negatives and I work around a lot of metal and have had to shovel a lot of snow. Bonus for the gloves being made of high quality leather. You can tell it’s good leather by the thickness and the smell. Another bonus for awesome customer support, as they are all based in America and speak clear English. When I need more gloves I’ll come check here first.

Great all around gloves.

Give them a chance to stretch and break i and they'll fit ....well...like a glove. This is my second pair. The first pair for work and the second pair for casual wear. The work pair feel great and are holding up well.

Well made but don’t fit as expected, small in hand and fingers but cuff is huge

Thermal Resistant

I purchased the gloves for my partner who works in fridges and freezers that get below zero. He said the thermal resistant fleece is not keeping his hands warm. While he loves the leather side because they keep grip. He is not getting the warmth from the gloves like we'd thought he would. To compare I work outside in winter Pennsylvaniaian air with a pair of leather gloves from Kolos and they keep my hands warm. A little sad they are not working for him.
