  • Patented Double Wedge™ design (Extreme curved finger pattern)
  • Ergonomically constructed to reduce hand fatigue and increase comfort
  • Winged thumb configuration to decrease material bunching around palm
  • Shirred back (Elastic stretch band for more secure fit)
  • Purpose placed gussets for longer-lasting wear
  • Minimized seams to prevent stitching abrasion
  • 1MM thickness leather cowhide

Bear Knuckles gloves are designed to fit tightly for better control and dexterity. Our sizing guide reflects a glove that will fit like a second skin. With regular break-in, the leather will expand and conform to the natural shape of your hand. If you desire a loose fitting glove, we recommend sizing up (L instead of M).

Conditioning Leather for First Time Use

To achieve a perfect fit, Bear Knuckles leather gloves should conform tightly to your hands when wearing for the first time as leather will stretch.

  1. Put leather gloves on
  2. Spritz with water
Note: If gloves are water/oil resistant, use mink oil or leather conditioner instead of water
  3. Wear until dry

Maintenance & Cleaning

All Bear Knuckles gloves are safe to hand or machine wash and dry. After machine washing, gloves will shrink to original size and may be stiff. Follow Break-in Steps above to recondition.

Damn fine gloves

I recently bought a pair of these. I have big hands I always wear 3xl gloves. If I had bought based on your size chart I can guarantee they would have been way to small. I grew up wearing Wells Lamont gloves (Yes I am old). I learned from wearing them you put them on, get them wet and wear them dry, just as you advise. I wish I had these when I started wearing leather gloves 50 yrs ago. I am truly impressed with them. I spend quite a bit on gloves because I want quality. after buying these and working in them I will not buy another brand ever. I will be returning to get a pair of Bushwackers for the more demanding work I do and before it gets wet and cold out side I will be getting a paid of Bodacious to keep dry when it gets nasty out. As mentioned before , to me, they seem like they are sized small, the size guide says I should have bought large but the 3xl fit perfectly. I do have long fingers. I will also be letting all my friends know where to get a very good pair of work gloves. No one looks forward to doing work. But I do look forward to getting a chance to wear these gloves. Good job on some damn fine work gloves.

Comfortable

Sturdy and comfortable gloves. Live them. Then only complaint is the odor is a bit strong and not the most pleasant.

Really wanted to like the gloves but...

Seemed well made, bought several pairs, this was the first pair I tried, first day using them in the farm and in under a day I had holes in the thumb and pointer fingers from putting up hay. I have been using gloves from the feed store for years and was fed up with them lasting around a week to 10 days before getting holes or coming apart but at about half hour the price of old faithful, I guess I will be going back to old faithful. $120 down the drain on over priced junk and cannot hold up to farm life. Not sure how they got all the 5 star reviews....

Great gloves

I have bought a couple pairs of the "old faithful" gloves. Love them. I have laid out over 8000 feet of wire cattle fence with them. They eventually wore a hole in the glove but that was after 5 or 6 months of usage. Just got ordered this again, along with the "heavy duty" ones to see any difference.
