Bear Knuckles gloves are designed to fit tightly for better control and dexterity. Our sizing guide reflects a glove that will fit like a second skin. With regular break-in, the leather will expand and conform to the natural shape of your hand. If you desire a loose fitting glove, we recommend sizing up (L instead of M).

Conditioning Leather for First Time Use

To achieve a perfect fit, Bear Knuckles leather gloves should conform tightly to your hands when wearing for the first time as leather will stretch.

  1. Put leather gloves on
  2. Spritz with water
Note: If gloves are water/oil resistant, use mink oil or leather conditioner instead of water
  3. Wear until dry

Maintenance & Cleaning

All Bear Knuckles gloves are safe to hand or machine wash and dry. After machine washing, gloves will shrink to original size and may be stiff. Follow Break-in Steps above to recondition.

Good ones.

These gloves will do well with Spring just around the way. They fit and feel pretty good.
Thank you.

Second pair of gloves in this brand

I have a pair of this brand in a heavy duty work glove I bought at a local store. They are holding up great to heavy farm life 3 months in! I bought this particular glove for my husband hoping it would be as sturdy. After 4 hours of splitting and moving wood these gloves are peeling at the fingertips. Clearly not meant for this kind of labor. I will be buying the heavy duty glove for him next time.

Didn't last 2 weeks

Although these gloves are comfortable and priced appropriately, they unfortunately didn't last me 2 weeks

Tough gloves so far!

I've only had these about three weeks but, so far, I really like them. They are soft for how rugged they feel and they seem more durable than other leather work gloves I have had.

They are a great pair of gloves. I was surprised at how they are keeping the water outside the glove and it doesn’t soak into the leather.
