Bear Knuckles gloves are designed to fit tightly for better control and dexterity. Our sizing guide reflects a glove that will fit like a second skin. With regular break-in, the leather will expand and conform to the natural shape of your hand. If you desire a loose fitting glove, we recommend sizing up (L instead of M).
Conditioning Leather for First Time Use
To achieve a perfect fit, Bear Knuckles leather gloves should conform tightly to your hands when wearing for the first time as leather will stretch.
- Put leather gloves on
- Spritz with water
Note: If gloves are water/oil resistant, use mink oil or leather conditioner instead of water - Wear until dry
Maintenance & Cleaning
All Bear Knuckles gloves are safe to hand or machine wash and dry. After machine washing, gloves will shrink to original size and may be stiff. Follow Break-in Steps above to recondition.Gloves are snug and a good fit waiting for colder weather
This company asked for my opinion so I’m sharing it. I find the gloves kind of rigid with not a lot of give and are somewhat uncomfortable. I wouldn’t buy them again but that’s just a personal preference. I wouldn’t suggest trying anything once, so you might find these gloves rather comfortable and they might suit your needs
Appear well made. I ordered two pairs of the 2xl based on previous comments about the gloves run small. They do, but my son-in-law’s are happy.
Upon recieving the gloves I liked their feel and look until I tried them on and found they were too tight. I had ordered the size that all of my other gloves are. That said they fit my fiancee very well so I gave them to her and ordered another pair but a size bigger.
Blem. Slight discoloration on logo… no big deal. Big discount though $ - nice. Bought a size larger as recommended. After leather treatment and shoveling 5 tons of gravel, they fit perfectly. Fleece not the best option in the summer heat, but they are quite comfortable otherwise and seem to be pretty durable
