With regular break-in, the leather will expand and conform to the natural shape of your hand. If you desire a loose fitting glove, we recommend sizing up (L instead of M).

Conditioning Leather for First Time Use

To achieve a perfect fit, Bear Knuckles leather gloves should conform tightly to your hands when wearing for the first time as leather will stretch.

Put leather gloves on
Spritz with water
Note: If gloves are water/oil resistant, use mink oil or leather conditioner instead of water
Wear until dry

Maintenance & Cleaning

All Bear Knuckles gloves are safe to hand or machine wash and dry. After machine washing, gloves will shrink to original size and may be stiff. Follow Break-in Steps above to recondition.

I ordered these gloves in an XS size (which is one of the reasons I love these gloves -- great quality in sizes that fit smaller hands), when I received the package, the wrong size was sent. I emailed right away and they were very quick to reship the correct size. I live on a farm and do lots of heavy chores, I need gloves that can stand up to what I throw at them and they need to fit. Searched a long time for a pair of gloves that I would actually use and feel great. These are the ones! They are incredible and tough!

I've been buying these gloves for several years and often buy ahead. This is the case here. These gloves will be pre treated with Obenhauf's after wetting a shrinking. My older pairs lasted around three years before having a fingertip or so peal back. Great gloves, thanks a million!

MY NEW FAVORITE GLOVE

I love the fit and feel of these gloves, the leather is supple but sturdy. The only thing I don't love about the glove is that the fingers are a little long, most noticeable on the index finger. I don't have small hands and usually XL gloves fit me just right, these do too, except for the fingers. this does not stop me from wearing the gloves because in every other way they are among the best I have ever worn. I use them for landscaping, carpentry and stone/masonry work and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a dependable work glove.

Durable yet soft and comfortable

Beautiful gloves! This is my husbands second pair and his first one lasted for years. They r soft and comfy allowing tons of dexterity for any type of work while holding up better than normal work gloves.
