Bear Knuckles gloves are designed to fit tightly for better control and dexterity. Our sizing guide reflects a glove that will fit like a second skin. With regular break-in, the leather will expand and conform to the natural shape of your hand. If you desire a loose fitting glove, we recommend sizing up (L instead of M).

Conditioning for 1st Time Use

To achieve a perfect fit, Bear Knuckles gloves should conform tightly to your hands when wearing for the 1st time as leather will stretch.

Break-in Steps

Put gloves on
Spritz with water
Note: If gloves are water/oil resistant, use mink oil or leather conditioner instead of water
Wear until dry

Maintenance & Cleaning

All Bear Knuckles gloves are safe to hand or machine wash and dry. After machine washing, gloves will shrink to original size and may be stiff. Follow Break-in Steps above to recondition.

Runs larger than the other gloves

I only use Bear Knuckles gloves now, because they are so durable and made with excellent quality materials and workmanship. I usually wear an XS in all the other gloves, but only the small was available in these. Decided to try them, but they run very large. I kept them, and may purchase the warm inserts available through Bear Knuckles, but they are really just too large for my hands. Won't be purchasing them again unless they make them in XS, but they are still a very good glove.

Great Quality

I heard a horse trainer recommending these gloves while at a Reined Cowhorse show recently and decided to give them a try. I ordered two pair as Christmas gifts and one pair for myself. They arrived within a few days of placing my order and the quality is excellent. Soft, supple leather and the darker color looks great. Sure glad I ordered an extra pair for myself or one of my friends might not have gotten hers :-)

can even do work with small items

Used the gloves when putting together the Grandchildren's Playground and was able to pick up both small and large objects without having to take the gloves on and off. Protected my hands and kept them warm. Excellent, going to be buying another set for the wife as well.

Second Pair

About a month ago I ordered a pair of your water resistant gloves... Took them on a couple of motorcycle rides to Tennessee & Florida... they performed flawlessly...yes...even in the light rain!!

Ok work gloves

Bought these gloves as everyday chore gloves, I think I got gloves that were die cut from 2 different stacks of leather, the left glove fits ok, the right glove the leather is thinner and the thumb is short, both gloves the ring finger and little fingers are approximately 1/4 inch too long. I decided to keep them and see how well they wear before deciding if I will buy another pair again.
