Bear Knuckles gloves are designed to fit tightly for better control and dexterity. Our sizing guide reflects a glove that will fit like a second skin. With regular break-in, the leather will expand and conform to the natural shape of your hand. If you desire a loose fitting glove, we recommend sizing up (L instead of M).

Conditioning Leather for First Time Use

To achieve a perfect fit, Bear Knuckles leather gloves should conform tightly to your hands when wearing for the first time as leather will stretch.

Put leather gloves on
Spritz with water
Note: If gloves are water/oil resistant, use mink oil or leather conditioner instead of water
Wear until dry

Maintenance & Cleaning

All Bear Knuckles gloves are safe to hand or machine wash and dry. After machine washing, gloves will shrink to original size and may be stiff. Follow Break-in Steps above to recondition.

Solid gloves

As advertised: comfortable, tough, easy break-in, thorn-proof so far with brambles, roses, etc. 1.4 mil buffalo hide is surprisingly soft yet tough. It's a little early to say for sure, but I am highly confident that these will last much longer than the many cowhide, deerskin and synthetic gloves I've worn out over the years.

Real working gloves

I have gone through numerous types for working gloves. Mainly used for projects that include construction, gardening, field work etc. I found Bare Knuckles and thought I'd give them a try. Wow what a product! Extremely fast shipping, good communication and the gloves are simply amazing! So well made, soft, strong and at a reasonable price. The quality is great. Sizing is accurate but if you might be interested between, go up another size. I'm so glad I tried your gloves!

Have used many leather gloves - these fit the best straight out of the gate! Toughest ones yet; keeping them oiled is a must to give that comfortable durable wear I need in a glove on the ranch.
