Bear Knuckles gloves are designed to fit tightly for better control and dexterity. Our sizing guide reflects a glove that will fit like a second skin. With regular break-in, the leather will expand and conform to the natural shape of your hand. If you desire a loose fitting glove, we recommend sizing up (L instead of M).

Conditioning Leather for First Time Use

To achieve a perfect fit, Bear Knuckles leather gloves should conform tightly to your hands when wearing for the first time as leather will stretch.

Put leather gloves on
Spritz with water
Note: If gloves are water/oil resistant, use mink oil or leather conditioner instead of water
Wear until dry

Maintenance & Cleaning

All Bear Knuckles gloves are safe to hand or machine wash and dry. After machine washing, gloves will shrink to original size and may be stiff. Follow Break-in Steps above to recondition.

Runs Small

I always wear a large glove. The large fits like a small/medium. Ordered the xtra large, it fits like a medium. Now I have two pair that I can’t use!

Nice looking tight fitting.

Bought these for motorcycling I went with large as I fall in the bottom of large measurements and boy howdy are they Tight. After a few days they fit great though the thumbs fit kinda twisted I'm happy they aren't over long like all the gloves from Asia.

Very tight!

I knew they would be tight initially. I ordered the next size up from my measurements. After finally getting them on my hands, I wet them like the instructions said. I couldn't wear them until they dried completely. I'll try again. I have neuropathy in both my hands so I have diminished feeling and flexibility. This may be contributing to the tight fit.
